Looking for Transcription Help
The Hooksett Heritage Commission is looking for volunteers to help finish up transcribing interviews from the Oral History Project. This is an opportunity to learn about Hooksett history from those who lived it while helping the commission put the information in a more useable format. Oral historians tell stories about what it was like to attend a one-room school, what they did for fun, how they got around, and other memories of Hooksett in simpler times.

Volunteers will be sent audio files in .mp3 format. To help out, you'll need a computer and access to the internet. If you can type, proofread and have some patience, this is a volunteer task you can do at your own schedule in your own home.

To volunteer or for more information, call 669-8926 or email Hooksett.Heritage@myfairpoint.net.
